And for the verse... >Verse pattern: 002200 -> 000220 > >Looking for an insult there's a trickle inside my head >002200 000220 .....this looks a bit wrong to me - it sounds like a basic Amaj to Dmaj thing, except..... X02220 (and then play X02230 and back) XX0220 (again, play the XX0230 and back) and repeat that pattern - this *sounds* more like how it is to me - then again, maybe playing it the other way works too - i havent tried it to the music. Maybe a cover band could have both these patterns playing to get the overall effect perfectly (how diplomatic is that?!). :) ------------------------------------- Author: Brandon Milner Subject: Re: Tablature for GOD MADE ME Date: Unknown Well what do you know? I was wrong! I'm willing to buy some of the changes that Glurts suggested in his last post. Specifically that the verse is mostly X02220 to X00220 instead of what I had foolishy posted before [X02200 to X00220]. He suggests that you hint at the D (2nd string, 3rd fret) between the chords but I don't hear that. Well done Glurts! As for the slightly different voicing of the intro. I don't think you can tell one way or the other. The bass plays that E so it covers up whether you play a Emin or Emin7. I actually like your way better (the Emin7) Brandon Milner bmilner@netcom(dot)com ------------------------------------- From: Chris Chan Subject: God Made Me Date: Unknown Intro (this same sequence is used again towards the end of the song): X02220 022100 X02220 022100 032033 320033 022100 022100 x02220 200232 X02220 200232 Looking for an insult there's a trickle inside my head X02220 200232 seeing it's worth the effort I for- give myself X02220 200232 talks that we had talks that we had are becoming a blur X02220 200232 if only I could love my neigh- bor 320033 022100 Chorus: because God made me- eee 022100 X02220 X32033 that's all they told me before and how about you? 320033 022100 ------------------------------------- Author: Brandon Milner Subject: Chords for "god made me" Date: Unknown TAB appears below the words sung at the time...
