Well, try to at least. David uses an acoustic and a Rickenbacker. It sounds like a Takamine but I won't even try to convince myself that I can hear the differences between acoustic guitars. A Rickenbacker for both guitars sounds good too though. Use the middle setting with plenty of treble and LOTS of reverb on your amp. With some chords I wasn't too sure about its name so I didn't label them in order to avoid misinforming anyone. If anyone would fill in the blanks and send them to the list, that would be nice. It'd complete these tabs. ********************************************************************** All chords are tabbed with the HIGH E at the top and the LOW E at the bottom. ********************************************************************** "Wild Horses" by Jagger/Richards (covered by Wheeler/Gavurin) Normal tuning, no capo / = slide up to next note \ = slide down to next note ~ = vibrato p = pull off Guitar 1 intro: G Cadd2 G Cadd2 Cadd2 D 3 3 3 3 3 2 3 3 3 3 3 3 0 0 0 0 0 2 0 2 0 2 2 0 2 3 2 3 3 X 3 X 3 X X X Guitar 1 - 1st verse (0:13): G G Am C G D 2 3 2 3 0 0 3 2 --3p2p0-0----- 3 3 3 3 1 1 3 3 -------3-3p0-- 2 0 4 0 2 0 0 2 ------------2- 0 0 4 0 2 2 0 0 -------------- X 2 2 2 0 3 2 X -------------- 2 3 2 3 X X 3 X -------------- Note: don't be cruel to yourself. The chorus of this song was especially difficult to transcribe and I'm unsure of that Em but that's how I play it. I've seen four transcriptions of (the Sundays') "Wild Horses" and in each one (mine included), the chorus is interpeted differently. If you can be bothered, please let me know if you find any problems with my tabs.
